BEZOAR IBEX HUNTING IN TURKEY

Anatolian Bezoar Ibex:
Most popular as a the big game species of Turkey, the Anatolian Bezoar ibex is widely spread along the Taurus mountains range. It has maintained good numbers throughout Turkey and the best hunting time is in the rut  since it is easier to find big horned trophy bezoars in low elevations while they are female chasing. The rut time varies according to regions. Recommended dates are from Mid. November till Mid. January.
During bezoar ibex hunting, it is  possible to stay in luxury hotels,town guest houses ,village houses or in fly campsdepending on the hunting area.  Turkey has several high quality hunting areas where up to over 125-cm-long trophies are found. It is possible to find them at any altitude between 2200’ to 8000’. 
Hunting organization includes  7 days. The recommended dates are Mid November till mid January. 
This hunt needs  a  long-distance shot and it is generally 250-300 meters.
